We come in at design stage, not after it
The commonest problem with mosaic in an interior scheme is that it reaches costing too late – when the dimensions are fixed and the budget is allocated. So we work from the concept: given a drawing, or even a mood board, we say what is feasible, in what module, in what price band and how long it will take. That way the scheme does not keep an element that cannot be built.
What you get for the scheme
Selection of material and palette for your composition – glass, marble, natural stone, ceramics, metallic and iridescent elements. Colour samples for presentation to the client. Setting diagrams and module layouts, which the contractor needs on site. Photographs and video of work in progress, which you can show the client without a visit to the workshop.
Commercial projects
Restaurants, hotels, spas and hammams, entrance areas, public buildings. Mosaic performs where a finish has to survive traffic and cleaning: it does not wear like paint, does not swell with damp like a panel, and a damaged area can be replaced locally without taking down the whole wall. For floors we select a material with the right durability and surface texture – a different one than for walls.
Programme and coordination
We make the mosaic in the workshop, in sections, in parallel with the building works – we do not block the trades. We come on site in an agreed window, once the substrate is ready, and install within a short, predictable period. Substrate requirements and any preparatory work are agreed in advance, so they do not surface during installation.
Pricing and terms of cooperation
A mosaic costs from 4,000 to 15,000 PLN per m². The price depends on the complexity, the number of faces and figures in the composition and the materials – a simple ornament and a realistic panneau are two different bands. An estimate from a drawing and dimensions is free. Terms for ongoing cooperation with a design practice are agreed individually – tell us how you prefer to work.
Frequently asked questions
Will you make a mosaic to my design?
Yes, that is our main way of working. We need a drawing or a graphic file and exact dimensions. Before starting we prepare a full-size working drawing and agree it with the designer.
Will I get samples to present to the client?
Yes. We prepare colour samples in the materials specified for the scheme, so the client can see texture and colour in the hand rather than on a print.
Is mosaic suitable for a floor in a restaurant or hotel?
Yes, with the right material. For a floor in a high-traffic building we use a different material and surface texture than for a wall. When enquiring, tell us the use and the expected traffic.
At what stage should I get in touch?
At concept stage. That is when the module, the setting-out and the budget can still be influenced. Once dimensions are fixed there is much less room to manoeuvre.
When do you come on site?
Once the substrate is ready, in a window agreed with the contractor. The mosaic is made beforehand in the workshop, so installation is short and does not hold up other trades.
How much does a mosaic cost?
From 4,000 to 15,000 PLN per m², depending on the complexity, the number of figures and the materials. An estimate from a drawing and dimensions is free.
